Kirsten Killoran

IBCLC & Birth Trauma Resolution Therapist

Anyone can struggle without support!

I am a mother of two, and experienced struggles and challenges in breastfeeding each of them. Just because breastfeeding is “natural” doesn’t always mean it’s easy!

I qualified as an IBCLC in 2021, and have also been involved with:

As an IBCLC, I support families like yours to have the best possible breastfeeding experience, whatever that looks like for you. Whether you wish to exclusively breastfeed, combination feed, exclusively pump, or even if you haven’t decided yet! I work with you to create a plan that will work for you and your family.

I am passionate about maternal mental health, having experienced postnatal depression with both of my children. Becoming a new parent can be a wonderful experience, but it can also be overwhelming, lonely, challenging and a huge struggle.

I qualified as a Birth Trauma Resolution Therapist in 2022 as a response to some of the birth stories that have been shared with me over the years.

“I had the chance to be helped by Kirsten for my first baby, she offered to meet before my baby was due to talk about how to give breastfeeding the best start. She then helped me throughout the whole year of me breastfeeding my first baby by meeting with me or answering questions by phone or messages! Her very insightful and well explained advice helped me through the hard times and the doubts. I honestly can say that Kirsten played a big part in my successful breastfeeding journey. So it's natural that I contacted her for more help on my second baby, and it has again been a successful journey.

Thank you so much Kirsten for your time and for making me a proud breastfeeding mum.

I couldn't recommend Kirsten enough!”
