How it works

  1. Book your appointment at a date and time that works for your family. If it’s not for a while, you’ll get a reminder closer to the day.

  2. You will receive an email asking you to fill in your client intake form. This is basic background information that will be helpful for me to have when we have our session.

  3. Have your session! Get comfortable and relax… you’re in good hands. If possible, try not to feed your baby for 30 minutes before so I can observe a good feed.

  4. Together we’ll talk through any problems and concerns you might have. I’ll work with you to create a manageable care plan. If you give permission, I will share this with your GP and public health nurse so we are all on the same page.

  5. That evening I will send on a copy of the care plan we create. It may be helpful to print it off so you can refer to it easily.

  6. Your booking includes 10 days of after care. Please do contact me at any time if things aren’t working or if you have any more questions. I will also check in on day 3 and day 7.

  7. If anything in your care plan isn’t working or is difficult for you to manage, please let me know, and together we can come up with a new plan.
